Conducting business using Zoom is how Active Adults Realty has been working to serve customers across Delaware.
Here at Active Adults Realty, we started using Zoom for our staff meetings over a year ago. Now, Zoom is almost a generic term!
Our agents live all over Delaware and it just made sense to have regular Zoom meetings which didn’t require team members to spend another few hours driving to Lewes to meet in our conference room. When the pandemic emergency has passed, we will continue to meet weekly on Zoom and get together perhaps every other month in-person.
For all of our real estate transactions, we switched to using an online platform called Ziplogix. If you have bought or sold a home with Active Adults Realty in the past year or two, you know that almost all real estate documents can be e-signed now, with the one exception of the buyer side of the actual real estate settlement.
How Virtual & Real Estate Blend Together Perfectly
Our agents have been showing houses virtually, holding Virtual Open Houses, doing virtual walk-throughs for their buyer clients, and even attending virtual design center meetings on behalf of their clients. Yes, some people are even buying homes that they have only seen virtually! They tend to be people who have bought and sold many homes during their lifetime; they are not the ones that lived in the same home for 35 years and are now contemplating relocating in retirement. If you’re thinking of selling your home, this is the perfect time to get it ready and get it listed.
Ways Zoom Shows Up In Unexpected Places
Since the pandemic and when the orders to “Stay at Home” started, I have been to a Zoom funeral, Zoom Happy Hours, and many Zoom webinars. Zoom Birthdays leave something to be desired. I do miss going out to restaurants and meeting new people at Happy Hours.
This year, I even attended the first Virtual National Association of Realtors Mid-Year Convention in Washington, D.C. Normally, over 10,000 REALTORS® descend on the nation’s capital every May to attend sessions and make visits to the Hill to meet with our Senators and Congressional Representatives. But this year, it’s all virtual.
While it may feel different to conduct real estate transactions virtually, you can trust our agents are comfortable and confident in the systems we’ve been practicing for over a year. We’re in this together and are happy to be your guide. Schedule an appointment today to make plans for buying a home or listing your home. Even a pandemic won’t keep us from serving you.
